Milan, 24 February 2026 – KYIP Capital, an independent asset management company specialized in growth buy-out transactions, through its KYIP Impact Mission Fund (KIM) dedicated to health and wellbeing, announces its investment in Chiron Group Società Benefit (“Chiron Group”), a healthcare group active in outpatient diagnostics services, specialist medicine, surgery and rehabilitation through a network of outpatient clinics and outsourcing services.
The transaction will be executed through a dedicated capital increase, enabling KYIP to acquire a 36% stake in Chiron Group’s share capital. The investment will primarily support the buy-and-build strategy through targeted M&A initiatives and strengthen the operational platform and integration processes.
Chiron Group operates nationwide through an innovative model integrating highly specialized healthcare providers, built on more than twenty years of experience in managing diagnostic imaging departments within public and private healthcare facilities. In 2025, the Group generated revenues exceeding €21 million and operates across two business lines: Radiological Service, delivering outsourced services to more than 30 healthcare facilities and Chiron Salute, a proprietary network of 9 outpatient clinics located in regions including Piedmont, Lombardy and Tuscany.
Chiron’s approach places patients and citizens at the center, combining advanced technologies and clinical expertise to provide accessible, timely and high-quality healthcare services. Within this framework, the “Privato Sociale” program allocates approximately 10% of diagnostic capacity aligned with SSN co-payment (ticket) levels, benefiting individuals facing access barriers due to public system waiting times or market conditions.
The transaction represents the first step of an industrial growth project aimed at building a platform integrating community diagnostics, specialist medicine, surgery and rehabilitation in a market characterized by increasing demand and significant fragmentation. The external growth strategy will focus on integrating highly specialized outpatient providers offering complementary services and expanding the diagnostic center network, with the objective of strengthening geographic coverage and expanding diagnostic capacity, consolidating Chiron as a leading operator in terms of service quality, operational efficiency and accessibility.
“Chiron represents a tangible example of a solid and scalable platform capable of addressing a key healthcare priority: strengthening community diagnostics as a lever for prevention and early diagnosis, improving accessibility and timeliness of care. Through this investment, we will support the Group in a structured growth path, combining organic development and selective acquisitions while enhancing the operating model, with the ambition to contribute to a modern, innovative and accessible healthcare system where quality care and advanced technologies are not a luxury, but a right for every individual,” said Eugenio Conforti, Partner and Head of Investments for KYIP Impact Mission Fund (KIM) at KYIP Capital.
Andrea Cicchiello, CEO and Chairman of Chiron Group commented:
“We founded Chiron with the ambition to provide accessible healthcare services for all. The project was created to offer patients and healthcare professionals access to state-of-the-art technologies combined with strong medical expertise, convinced that innovation and competence must translate into better care, closer to patients. Our vision is that quality should not be a privilege for a few, but a right accessible to all. With KYIP alongside us, we intend to strengthen and scale this model, accelerating structured national growth also through targeted acquisitions. The concept of ‘Privato Sociale’ lies at the heart of our mission: combining organizational efficiency and social responsibility to reduce inequalities, shorten waiting times and ensure timely, humane and sustainable care pathways”.
KYIP Impact Mission Fund (KIM), an Article 9 fund under the EU SFDR regulation, invests in Italian companies operating in the health and wellbeing sectors that combine industrial growth with measurable social impact. Consistent with this approach, Chiron’s industrial plan is supported by ambitious impact targets embedded into the operating model and by a structured measurement and monitoring framework tracking patient outcomes alongside operational KPIs.
Chiron Group is part of the ELITE network, the Euronext Group ecosystem supporting SMEs in their growth and access to private and public capital markets.
