Milan, 17 September 2026KYIP Capital, through KYIP Investment Fund, announces the launch of Hekai Education S.p.A. (“Hekai”), a new integrated education and skills development platform. The project is being established through the acquisition of majority stakes in Amicucci Formazione S.r.l. (“Skilla”) and BMA S.r.l. (“My Beauty Academy”), which will join Volta Institute, a KYIP portfolio company since 2024 and the original foundation of the project.

Hekai is being launched in a market underpinned by structural growth drivers. The acceleration of digital transformation and the increasing adoption of artificial intelligence are rapidly reshaping workforce skills requirements, making upskilling and reskilling a strategic priority throughout people’s professional lives.

Against this backdrop, Hekai has developed its model around continuous learning, with the ambition of supporting people and organisations throughout an ongoing journey of skills development. The model builds on the experience of Volta Institute, which has established strong capabilities in specialist and certified training across digital, technology and management disciplines. The addition of My Beauty Academy further strengthens and broadens this offering, bringing deep expertise in the beauty & wellness sector and laying the foundations for the development of further specialist verticals focused on specific sectors and professional profiles. With Skilla, the Group significantly expands its presence in the corporate learning market, building on the company’s expertise to develop a dedicated offering for businesses and combining content, methodologies and technology to support the continuous development of managerial, digital and behavioural capabilities across organisations.

In 2025, the new Group generated approximately €25 million in pro-forma revenues and €5 million in EBITDA, training more than 12,000 professionals and reaching approximately 2 million workers through more than 600 large corporate clients.

The creation of Hekai marks a new phase for the businesses within the Group. By sharing expertise, content, methodologies, technologies, data and relationships with the labour market, Hekai will be able to further strengthen the quality of its training offering and foster increasingly integrated pathways between specialist education, continuous learning and the corporate world. The Group will also invest in new learning models, the continued evolution of digital learning and applications of artificial intelligence, with the aim of enhancing the learning experience and developing increasingly personalised pathways aligned with evolving skills needs.

The entrepreneurs behind Skilla and My Beauty Academy are reinvesting in the project and will continue to play active roles within their respective businesses, ensuring entrepreneurial continuity and contributing to the Group’s next phase of development. Alex De Togni, formerly General Manager of Volta Institute, has been appointed CEO of Hekai Education and will lead the new Group from its headquarters in Milan.

Hekai was created with the ambition of supporting people throughout their professional lives, helping them become who they want to be, while enabling companies to grow through the development of their teams. Learning is a continuous journey: acquiring a new skill, specialising, progressing within a role or choosing a new direction are different stages of the same evolution. This is what continuous learning means to us: education in constant motion, capable of turning potential into skills and aspirations into tangible development pathways,” said Alex De Togni, CEO of Hekai Education.

Hekai represents the evolution of the journey launched by KYIP Capital in 2024 with its investment in Volta Institute. Over the past two years, KYIP has supported the company in strengthening its management structure, repositioning the business and evolving its commercial, operational and technological processes, creating the foundations for a broader development project. With the addition of Skilla and My Beauty Academy, Hekai now gains greater scale and complementary capabilities, expanding both its reach and its ability to support the growth of people and organisations.

With the support of KYIP Capital, the Group will continue to develop by strengthening its existing businesses, building new specialist verticals and bringing additional high-quality operators into the platform.

The creation of Hekai Education reflects the way we approach value creation: starting from strong entrepreneurial businesses, strengthening them and building connections across complementary capabilities. By bringing together Volta Institute, Skilla and My Beauty Academy, we are creating a broad and integrated education platform capable of connecting specialist training, workforce skills development and new professional verticals,” said Gianluca Losi, Chief Executive Officer and Founding Partner of KYIP Capital.
