Datlas Group, a strategic partner in the digital transformation of business processes and controlled by the private equity fund KYIP Capital, has signed a €33 million Sustainability Linked Loan with a syndicate of leading financial institutions comprising Gruppo Azimut through the Azimut Diversified Corporate Credit ESG-8 fund, Banca Sella, BNL BNP Paribas, Cherry Bank, and Crédit Agricole Italia as agent bank.
The financing – with maturities between August 2030 and August 2031 – allows the Group to refinance its existing debt, reducing costs and extending duration. The financing – with maturities between August 2030 and August 2031 – allows the Group to refinance its existing debt, reducing costs and extending duration. The loan also includes a revolving credit facility (RCF), a Capex line to support business development, and a line dedicated to potential M&A transactions, thereby providing greater financial flexibility to support the Group’s growth plans.
For Datlas, this is its first sustainability-linked financing, part of a broader strategy to integrate ESG principles into its business model and operations, with initiatives aimed both at reducing environmental impacts and at enhancing human capital and inclusion policies.
Gianluca Losi, CEO e Founding Partner of KYIP Capital, commented: “This refinancing transaction not only demonstrates the confidence of leading financial institutions in Datlas’ strategy and operational excellence but also marks an important step in the Group’s growth journey, which KYIP has supported with conviction since our investment. The Sustainability Linked Loan strengthens the Group’s financial structure and supports its development and consolidation plans, helping to generate long-term value and positioning Datlas as a key player in the Italian digital landscape.“
The transaction qualifies as a Sustainability Linked Loan, with two ESG targets defined in line with the principles of the Loan Market Association: the reduction of Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions and the progressive closure of the gender pay gap. The margin adjustment mechanism is tied to the achievement of these objectives, with metrics and verification procedures consistent with market standards.
