Chiron Group

Chiron Group is an integrated outpatient healthcare platform operating through two complementary business lines: Radiological Service, providing outsourced diagnostic imaging and ophthalmic surgery services to public and private healthcare providers; and Chiron Salute, a growing network of nine proprietary outpatient clinics across Piedmont, Lombardy and Tuscany offering diagnostic imaging, specialist medicine, surgery and rehabilitation.

The Group combines specialist clinical capabilities with a territorial model designed to strengthen prevention and early diagnosis and provide patients with more timely access to care. Through its “Privato Sociale” programme, Chiron reserves approximately 10% of private diagnostic capacity at rates aligned with National Health Service co-payment levels, helping address affordability barriers and long public waiting times.

"Chiron is a concrete example of a solid and scalable platform, capable of responding to a priority healthcare need: strengthening territorial diagnostics as a lever for prevention and early diagnosis, improving accessibility and timeliness of care."

CEO Perspective

"Our project was born from the conviction that quality cannot be a privilege for the few, but a right accessible to everyone. With KYIP at our side, we intend to strengthen and scale this model, accelerating structured growth across the national territory through targeted acquisitions."

Value creation

We apply our Core-Digital-Culture framework as a proprietary transformation method — working simultaneously across three interconnected dimensions to turn strategy into execution and generate durable competitive advantage.

01

CORE

Chiron is building a scalable national healthcare platform through a structured combination of organic development and targeted acquisitions. KYIP is supporting the Group in standardising commercial and operating processes, strengthening management and financial reporting and developing a repeatable integration model for newly acquired clinics. A structured buy-and-build approach is expanding geographic reach and healthcare capacity while preserving clinical and operating standards across the network.

02

DIGITAL

The digital agenda is focused on creating a more integrated operating infrastructure across the Group. Chiron is mapping its core clinical and management systems — including EMR, ERP and CRM — and their underlying data flows to identify opportunities for greater integration, process automation and more effective use of data. The objective is to build a technology architecture capable of supporting a growing network while improving operational visibility and consistency.

03

CULTURE

Chiron is developing a shared Group identity around quality of care, prevention and territorial proximity, embedding its Società Benefit principles into both corporate positioning and the operating model. Community initiatives and a healthcare content ecosystem structured around education, prevention and service provision are strengthening the relationship between the Group and the territories in which it operates. In parallel, Chiron is formalising its people and organisational model through clearer roles and responsibilities, structured onboarding and the development of Chiron Academy, designed to codify the Group’s service model, strengthen patient experience and support professional and managerial development. A dedicated ESG, impact and compliance framework is progressively reinforcing governance and accountability as the platform scales.
